As a freedom-seeking teenager, I spent my late teens and early twenties grappling with what true freedom really meant. I traveled the world  working  for money, with no goal or passion to follow in mind but my pursuits were often aimless, spent on substances that only served to numb the longing of my inner goddess who yearned to be heard. In those years, I was caught up in an unhealthy balance of masculine and feminine energy, believing that love was a fleeting connection with some random guy who chose to take me home.
